Documents Required
For humanitarian visa, nationals and stateless persons impacted by the armed conflicts in Syria must present below documents after booking their free appointment

- one recent photograph;
- A copy of the passport (2 first pages, with the basic information);
- A negative report of criminal records issued by either Syria or Lebanon;
- A letter of invitation with detailed information, including telephone number and proof of residence, from a contact person in Brazil
- Family extract papers in case of families applying together or minors;
- Legal guardian official paper in case of one of the parents is not present;
- A parental travel authorization for minor applicants, certified by a public notary and legalized by the foreign affairs in Lebanon.
- Presentation of ticket reservation.
This humanitarian visa will be free of charge, only BLS service 14USD are to be paid in cash while submitting the application at Brazil Visa application Center.
NB: Requests from individuals residing in Syria will not be accepted.

Process Time
- The Estimated Wait Time to receive a visa appointment is based on workload and staffing at Brazil Consulate in Beirut and can vary from week to week.
- Each applicant is required to call the Brazil visa application Center on +961 1 392383 if they have not been called by Brazil Embassy for an interview.
Photo Specifications
Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in color and:
- Taken against white background so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
- Clear share quality and with the face in focus.
- Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
- Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
- Please stick the Photograph on the RER printed Form.
Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the Brazil Visa Application Center.

- The form must be filled in online.
- Enter complete information – please note that some fields are mandatory.
- Parents' names must be entered in full (name and surname), exactly as displayed in the applicant's birth certificate.
- Upload the digital copies of all documents listed below (items 2 to 8).
- Click on the "Complete Application" button to generate the Visa Request Form Receipt (RER).
After the form is concluded:
- Print and sign the RER; affix your photo on the indicated field. If the applicant is under 18 years old, the RER must be signed by both parents.
- Gather all original documents listed in below link. They must be presented during your visit to the Brazil Visa application Center, in addition to the RER.
